The 2017/18 Serie A season is nearing its exciting climax at both ends of the table. One of this weekend’s games that affects the top sees league leaders, Juventus travel to the San Siro to face Inter. The hosts are in 5th, one point outside of the top four.
It's always hard to pick a winner in this fixture and it couldn’t be closer in the last five meetings. Both sides have won two of the last five in all competitions and the most recent match ended goalless. The last two meetings between the sides at the San Siro have seen Inter come away with a win, not the kind of statistic Juve wouldn't want to hear.
Three points for Inter would keep their hopes of a top four very much alive while a loss could leave them with a lot to do. They have the benefit of a full-strength squad which will provide some much-needed confidence. Latest matches: Inter Milan

Anything other than a win for Juventus isn’t good enough in this one as they need to keep Napoli at arm’s length. Both Mattia De Sciglio and Giorgio Chiellini are out for the season, the latter being a huge blow to their title chances.

There won’t be many fixtures between Inter and Juventus that hold more importance than this. Both teams will be desperate to win but won’t give much away. A draw is the most likely outcome, it’ll need a special performance from either side to take all the points. I wouldn’t expect goals in this one as both sides will keep it very tight at the back.
