After five games of the 2018/19 Ligue 1 season, it returns this week and on Friday, Monaco host Nimes desperately looking for a win. Last year’s runners-up have started awfully and sit 15th while their upcoming opponents are in 8th.

Due to Nimes spending a lot of time in the lower divisions, the head-to-head record isn’t full of matches and they’ve never actually met in Ligue 1. SUMMARY
Last season, this would’ve been considered a comfortable Monaco win but after contrasting starts to the season, Nimes certainly have a chance to nick a point despite still being underdogs.
